We’re looking for a passionate Fixed Term Part Time Early Childhood Teacher who’s ready to make an impact every single day to the learning journeys of all children.
Where you’ll work
With the support of a dynamic teaching team and access to life skills in the form of an early years swimming program, Y Learn and Swim Kindergarten provides a great variety of opportunities for children to develop their learning through fun and practical experiences. The team are looking for educators who are excited about sharing in children’s learning journeys as they grow into accomplished and independent individuals.
Role Details:
Early Childhood Teacher
Fixed term role - 22nd July 2026 to 18th December 2026
Session Times: Wednesday – 8:30am to 4:00pm
7.5 contact hours + 3.75 non-contact hours = 11.25 hours per week

What You’ll Do

- Create engaging, play-based programs that spark curiosity and creativity
- Build strong relationships with families, children, and your teaching team
- Support and guide educators to deliver meaningful learning experiences

What You’ll Bring
- Early Childhood Registration with VIT and recognised Early Childhood Teacher qualification
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and belong
