What you’ll do
This role plays a key part in ensuring the stability, performance and continuous improvement of our IT environment.
As a Systems Engineer, you will work across both core infrastructure and end-user device environments, supporting a modern, hybrid workplace through a combination of cloud platforms, virtualisation and enterprise mobility tools.

-
Drive deployment, patching and vulnerability remediation activities
-
Support and enhance disaster recovery and backup processes (including tools such as Commvault)
-
Manage and optimise end-user device environments across Intune and Jamf and MDM platforms
-
Support device fleet management, policy enforcement, provisioning and lifecycle management of end-user devices
-
Improve the performance, security and user experience of endpoint environments
-
Contribute to system improvements, automation and optimisation initiatives
-
Maintain clear documentation and improve support processes to reduce recurring incidents
-
Partner closely with Technology and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions
About you
You’re a well-rounded Systems Engineer with strong fundamentals, practical experience, and the ability to operate with a high level of ownership.
Ideally you arrive with:
-
Experience working across hybrid infrastructure environments
-
Strong capability in Microsoft 365, Azure and virtualisation (VMware)
-
Exposure to AWS and broader cloud environments is beneficial
-
Hands-on experience with endpoint management / MDM tools (Intune, Jamf or similar)
-
Strong understanding of managing device fleets, policies, patching and endpoint security
-
Solid grounding in backups, disaster recovery and system resilience
-
Proven ability across deployment, patching and vulnerability management
-
Strong troubleshooting capability across L2/L3 environments
-
Comfort working autonomously, with sound judgement and accountability
-
Mature communication skills and a willingness to engage with stakeholders
