Bonza is looking for a talented admin who can demonstrate the following qualities:
- Positive, fun-loving attitude, while consistently performing at a high level
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, small business environment
- Excellent communicator, composed, and able to think on your feet
- Ability to learn from experiences and apply that knowledge to future actions and decisions
- Ability to study the local area and give recommendations to guests to make the most of their trips
- Has a high attention to detail and takes pride in completing work to a high standard
- Confident in liaising with guests and agents through email and over the phone
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, restaurants, retail, or other customer service role preferable but not necessary
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our shop administration team makes sure everything is organised and running smoothly for our customers to get the most out of their time with us. Admins achieve this by balancing the incoming bookings with the walk-in shop trade to ensure a seamless experience for all confirmed or prospective Bonza customers. This includes checking in customers for their tour, setting up bike hires, taking payments, answering enquiries, and keeping the shop clean and organised, among other responsibilities. This is an onsite role at 30 Harrington Street in The Rocks.
Physical Condition
Applicants should be capable of lifting and maneuvering bikes and equipment necessary to assist tour and hire guests (loading/carrying bikes, etc.). Maximum lift required is about 25 kg.
Standard Rate
This is a casual position over weekends only. Flexibility will be given when you need the occasional weekend off but the expectation is that you will cover the majority of the weekends, so please be aware of this when you apply. The hourly rate is $31.13 with an average of 6 hours worked per day on Saturday and Sunday. Superannuation is calculated at the applicable rate. We provide a comprehensive training program at 100% of the Standard Rate.
