About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Rostering Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating security personnel, managing workforce rosters, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and publish weekly rosters for RSL Clubs and other client sites.
- Allocate shifts and ensure all sites are adequately staffed.
- Verify rostered hours and ensure timesheets are accurate before payroll processing.
- Respond to incoming phone calls from clients and security personnel.
- Coordinate shift changes and arrange replacement guards for planned and unplanned absences.
- Provide weekend on-call operational support.
- Provide overnight phone support for urgent operational matters.
- Recruit new Security Officers, including screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
- Assist with employee inductions and compliance documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, Operations Managers, and Security Officers.
- Monitor staff availability, leave requests, and licensing compliance.
- Maintain accurate records within the rostering system.
- Ensure all rosters meet client requirements, company policies, and award conditions.
- Assist with general operational administration and workforce coordination.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and employees to ensure high levels of service delivery.
Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in rostering, workforce coordination, or operations.
- Experience in recruitment or human resources is highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve operational issues efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and rostering software.
- Experience within the security industry is highly desirable.
