Job Description:
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in the field of networking with a minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer specialized in delivery in at least three of the following environments:
- Security appliances (Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer, etc.)
- Developed a deep understanding of core network technologies (OSPF, BGP (eBGP and iBGP),
MPBGP, MPLS, VxLAN, LDP, EVPN, etc.) and security technologies (Firewalling, Load Balancing,
WAF, Proxy, SIEM).
- Proven experience implementing and operating F5 Load balancers (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM).
- Proven experience working with Global Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, etc) and the technologies (VPCs, TG, DFw, LB, Direct Connect, etc).
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale networks and mission critical networks.
- Extensive knowledge of the main network and security vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills in managing a wide variety of
stakeholders including vendors, partners and suppliers.
Good to have:
- Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.
- Vendor certifications CCIE, CCNP, CCAr, Arista, F5, Palo Alto etc.
- Network monitoring Software (SolarWinds).
