Hamilton Island is seeking an energetic and experienced Fitness Club Manager to lead the operation of our Fitness Club facilities, including island gyms, tennis courts, and mini golf. As Fitness Club Manager, you'll oversee the daily operation of the Fitness Club and recreational facilities while leading a team of attendants and fitness professionals. You'll be responsible for facility management, staff development, fitness programming, group classes, budgeting, and ensuring guests and staff enjoy exceptional fitness and recreational experiences.

Manage the daily operation of gyms, tennis courts, and mini golf facilities

Lead, coach, and develop Fitness Club team members

Create and manage staff rosters to support operational requirements

Deliver fitness classes, personal training, and wellness programs

Develop and enhance group fitness offerings and recreational activities

Maintain facility presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards

Ensure equipment is maintained and operating safely

Manage Fitness Club budgets, reporting, and stock control

Coordinate maintenance schedules and external service providers

Assist with conventions, special events, social activities, and wet weather programs

Respond to guest enquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally

Maintain compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures

Work collaboratively with other departments including qualia Spa
You are a motivated leader who is passionate about fitness, recreation, and guest experiences. You enjoy developing teams, creating engaging programs, and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic resort environment.

Certificate III and IV in Fitness (Essential)

Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate (Essential)

Qualified Yoga Instructor (Highly Desireable)
