Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchens, stores, and back-of-house areas

Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces

Receive, store, and distribute deliveries across Food & Beverage outlets
-
Monitor stock levels and maintain organised storage areas
-
Support the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams during service periods

Conduct routine cleanliness and safety inspections
-
Assist with basic food preparation when required

Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and WH&S standards
-
Assist with stocktakes and inventory management
-
Report hazards, maintenance issues, and equipment faults
-
Support other hotel departments during busy operational periods
-
Complete ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel

A passion for cleanliness, organisation, and supporting exceptional guest experiences

Previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen attendant, stores, or similar hospitality role
-
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and workplace health and safety standards
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
-
Experience managing stock, deliveries, inventory records, and storage areas is highly regarded
-
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
-
Physical ability to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 kilograms
-
Experience working within a multi-outlet food and beverage operation or luxury hotel environment is desirable but not essential
-
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
-
You must meet the legal requirements to live and work in Australia
