We are currently seeking a full-time detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator (Building Services) to join our Support Office team. This role is key to the successful delivery of prefabricated modular construction projects, centre upgrades, and the coordination of maintenance works across our portfolio of childcare centres.
As part of our Projects and Facilities function, you will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure projects and maintenance activities are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and within budget.
About the Role
This role combines project coordination, technical building services knowledge, and strong administrative skills. You will oversee project workflows from design through to onsite delivery, while also supporting ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure our centres remain safe, functional, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of modular building projects and centre upgrades
- Oversee building services coordination including HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and energy‑efficient systems
- Liaise with external consultants, builders, renovators, and maintenance contractors
- Review technical documentation, drawings, certifications, and approvals
- Support compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards
- Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance activities across multiple centres
- Track project progress, costs, and timelines using enterprise systems
- Prepare clear and accurate project and maintenance reports for senior management
- Identify and resolve technical or administrative issues impacting delivery
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners

What Makes Our Ideal Project Coordinator:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Engineering
- 1 year of relevant work experience is required for this role
- Strong understanding of building services systems and contractor coordination
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong administrative and reporting capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between centres as required
- Experience in modular construction or early learning environments is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
