Overview:
The Revenue Policy Analyst is responsible for the development of revenue policy and strategy within the newly established Revenue Strategy Unit (RS). This is a great opportunity for team members currently working within Local Health Networks (LHNs) to contribute to system-wide policy development and gain experience within the Department.
The unit supports and manages key policy initiatives designed to support the optimisation of revenue outcomes for public health services. The unit’s purpose is to provide system leadership, though policy and guidance to revenue-based teams working across the Local Health Networks, who are responsible for optimising revenue outcomes and meeting revenue compliance requirements. It achieves this through:
The development and maintenance of policies and guidelines (policy and governance).
Strategy, education, and business reform across all patient revenue streams.
The provision of a level 2 helpdesk, supporting Local Health Networks to get policy and practice right every time.
Commonwealth department and jurisdictional consultation and engagement on system wide issues/matters.
Periodic and ad hoc Revenue Compliance reviews.
The Revenue Policy Analyst will be involved in funding matters and audits and the provision of expert policy related advice to Local Health Networks (LHNs) to ensure that SA Health policies are implemented and adhered to.
