Description:
As an Event Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing world-class events to life. From the first planning meeting to the final applause, you'll be the trusted partner for our clients, ensuring every event is flawlessly delivered and every experience exceeds expectations.
No two days are the same. You'll collaborate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to transform ideas into exceptional events that leave a lasting impression.
THE ROLE
As an Event Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of events, providing expert guidance throughout the planning journey while ensuring seamless on-site delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end planning and execution of assigned events
- Building trusted relationships with clients, understanding their vision and delivering exceptional event experiences.
- Collaborating with operational teams to ensure every event is planned and delivered to the highest standard.
- Preparing detailed event documentation and communicating requirements across all departments.
- Leading client planning meetings, site inspections and event briefings.
- Monitoring event delivery, anticipating challenges and providing solutions in a calm, professional manner.
- Supporting business growth by identifying opportunities for repeat business and assisting with short-lead enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records in Momentus and other business systems.
ABOUT YOU
You're passionate about events and thrive in a dynamic environment. You're an exceptional communicator who enjoys building relationships and takes pride in delivering memorable client experiences.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality or conference and exhibition operations.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using event management systems such as Momentus and EventDraw highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences.
