Step into an exciting role as an Amazon Connect DevOps Associate Engineer at eHealth NSW, where you’ll help design, build, and support modern contact centre solutions. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll contribute to delivering reliable, scalable contact centre solutions that support critical healthcare services across NSW Health, which is Australia’s largest health system.
In this role, you will:
- Build, test and deploy Amazon Web Services and Amazon Connect components adhering to our Software Development Life Cycle, Development Standards, Guidelines and Agile Framework to meet business and process requirements.
- Prepare technical specification, call flows and architecture diagrams according to governance standards using a broad range of engagement techniques (data and system analyses, requirements workshops, user stories and business analyses).
- Drive roadmap delivery by partnering with other engineers and vendors to ensure product alignment, delivering value to customers and delivering to organisational strategies.
- Apply agile development activities to refine, size, and implement user stories with clear documentation and transparent delivery outcomes.
- Execute technology initiatives supporting migration, implementation, and transformation aligned with platform and service roadmaps.
- Analyse and enhance solutions by investigating designs, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to ensure system interoperability.
- Practice code quality and standards to improve security, performance, and maintainability across platforms.
- Provide ongoing support for the product – diagnosing and resolving technical issues and maintaining product environment health.
- Manage incident and support tickets – troubleshooting and resolving incidents and fulfilling requests and small enhancements to Production contact centre builds.

About You
You’ll be someone who:
- Demonstrates experience designing, building, and operating enterprise applications within a shared services environment, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent expertise
- Has strong experience with modern ICT delivery practices, including DevOps and Agile methodologies, driving efficient and high-quality delivery outcomes
- Has a proven track record of deploying end to end deliverables with strong adherence to lean coding standards and best practices
- Has strong and passionate customer focus, working to deliver the best possible outcomes for the customer and patient experience
- Has worked collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
