- Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network
- Mount Pleasant Hospital
- Salary: RN/M1 $77,824 to $106,187 per annum (adjusted to actual hours worked)
- Ongoing, Part-time opportunity (36 hours per week worked over a 7 day roster)
This role provides indirect and direct patient-centred nursing care within a defined clinical area, supporting safe and coordinated patient journeys through effective clinical coordination, bed management, and complex discharge planning in collaboration with senior nursing staff. The position involves assessing patient needs, coordinating care across disciplines and services, and delivering progressively autonomous shift-by-shift clinical care to achieve positive health outcomes.
In addition, the role contributes to broader health service improvement through participation in quality and safety initiatives, risk minimisation activities, and evidence-based practice. It also supports education and development by providing health promotion to patients and carers, assisting with student and graduate learning experiences, and offering growing professional leadership to less experienced staff while engaging in evaluative and research-informed nursing practice.
The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network offers opportunities across our sites, from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to all our consumers, residents, their families, and community. Our mission is to ensure that you always receive the best quality, safe, consistent, collaborative care and always with kindness. We do this by maintaining exceptional levels of care at all times supported by systems and processes that assure us of quality and safety of our staff and those we serve.
