POS Installation & Repair Technician (Contract)
We are looking for a hands-on POS Installation & Repair Technician to assist with POS hardware installations, repairs, and mounting work at retail and hospitality sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain POS equipment, poles, brackets, and mounting hardware.
- Securely mount and adjust POS terminals, stands, and associated fixtures.
- Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, and drilling equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and installation issues on-site.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely and professionally.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with POS hardware installations, retail fit-outs, or similar field service work.
- Confident using drills, screwdrivers, anchors, fixings, and other installation tools.
- Practical, mechanically minded, and comfortable performing physical installation work.
- Ability to work independently and solve on-site issues.
- Experience working in retail, hospitality, or commercial environments is preferred.

This role is best suited to a handyman, shopfitter, field technician, maintenance technician, or installer with strong practical skills rather than purely IT/software support experience.
