Senior Bishop for the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) Australia
About the Role
UCKG is seeking an experienced Senior Bishop to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care, strengthen community outreach, and support the growth of the Work of God through service, evangelism, and disciple-making. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong pastoral maturity, proven church oversight experience, and the ability to serve diverse communities. The Senior Bishop will have primary responsibility for Australia.

Qualifications
- Formal theological or ministry training (e.g., pastoral care studies)
- 15 years of ordination and senior leadership service within a recognised evangelical church structure, with experience operating at Head Pastor / Regional Pastor / Bishop / Regional Bishop / Senior Bishop level
- Strong communication skills, including experience with online media ministry and public speaking as part of evangelistic work
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing weekly and daily sermons and conducting worship services.
- Overseeing the overall activities of a UCKG branch
- Providing spiritual support to members of the congregation including all pastors, pastors wives and volunteers.
- Performing Baptisms
- Overseeing the operations of 5 branches of UCKG in Australia and assisting with the oversight of overseas operations
- Exercising financial decisions and UCKG investment decisions
- Assisting in UCKG financial matters
- Preparing and holding regular pastors meeting to coordinate ministry
- Ensuring UCKG facilities are functioning accordingly
- Overseeing community groups of the church and participating in social and welfare activities of the communities.
- Encouraging people to be aware of their responsibilities and organising participation in community projects.
- Conducting family, marriage counselling and referring people to professional service agencies where necessary
- Making sure UCKG as a whole is keeping records and abiding to the law
- Visiting members of the community in their homes, hospitals and other institutions to provide advice and religious comfort
- Organising and managing UCKG events

Salary
Competitive Salary -- $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
