About the Role
We are seeking caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to support people living with disabilities to achieve their goals, build independence, and actively participate in their community. This role offers flexible casual shifts with the opportunity to move into a permanent part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual goals and care plans.
- Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
- Support clients to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social activities.
- Safely transport clients using your own vehicle when required.
- Administer medication (where trained) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Promote client dignity, choice, independence, and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable and insured vehicle suitable for community access and client transport.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Right to Work in Australia.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
Desirable
- Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or similar.
- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or community services.
