Exceptional support worker
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.
We are seeking a reliable, caring and motivated support worker who is passionate about supporting people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives and participate in their community.
About the role
The successful applicant will provide person-centred support, including:
- Supporting clients with community access and outings
- Assisting clients to participate in activities and appointments
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Building positive and respectful relationships with clients
- Providing safe, reliable and professional support
Essential requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in disability support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Current Blue Card
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to providing quality support
