Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Leader, Security Training and Triage in Security Command.
Security Command is responsible for ensuring the security of the AFP’s people, information, assets and operational delivery. This is achieved through the development of a strong enterprise-wide security culture and building capabilities to ensure security risks are appropriately identified and mitigated.
The role requires a person with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support team performance in a high-pressure environment.
The Security Training and Triage Team Leader are responsible for leading a team of security professionals who deliver a range of security functions including:
- Development, implementation and maintenance of security training programs
- Managing the Security Incident Report (SIR) triage process to prioritise tasks and resources effectively
- Development and maintenance of governance for Security Command
- Analyse security reporting and monitor the security environment to ensue contemporary security training and communications
- Ensuring timely and relevant security communications
- Provide secretariat function for the AFP Security Committee.
