Milestones English Academy is a CRICOS-registered English language provider located in Carlton VIC. We are currently seeking a professional, adaptable and student-focused ELICOS Teacher(s) to join our academic team. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is comfortable contributing across both teaching and broader academic support activities where required.
About the Role
You will deliver English language programs to international students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds while contributing to a supportive and professional learning environment aligned with the ELICOS Standards 2018.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality ELICOS classes across varying English proficiency levels
- Preparing and contextualising lesson plans, learning resources and classroom activities
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate academic records
- Conducting assessments and providing timely feedback to students
- Supporting student engagement, attendance monitoring and progression interventions where required
- Participating in moderation, validation, PD sessions and academic meetings
- Maintaining compliance with our internal academic and compliance frameworks
- Contributing positively to student experience, retention and academic outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Recognised TESOL qualification(s) meeting ELICOS Standards requirements
- Understanding of International student expectations and welfare considerations
- Compliance and academic integrity requirements within CRICOS operations
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse student cohorts
- Reliable administration and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Working with Children Check
