Information Planet Pty Ltd holds representation agreements with Australian schools, colleges, and education providers to support international students seeking to enrol in courses in Australia and to provide ongoing assistance throughout their studies. These agreements involve the provision of accurate information and guidance to international students exploring study opportunities in Australia.
The Education Consultant is responsible for managing and organising information and data received from education providers, private health insurance providers, accommodation providers, and relevant government departments. The role also involves developing and maintaining documentation, procedures, and resources to support the Education Division, as well as maintaining an information and knowledge base to ensure consistent and accurate information is available across the organisation.
The Education Consultant will liaise with internal team members both onshore and offshore to support the effective sharing of information and operational processes. Internal teams rely on the documentation and information prepared by the Education Consultant to support students in making informed decisions regarding their education pathways and associated processes.
Main Responsibilities are:
● Organise and manage data and information provided to us by schools and colleges in relation to courses, intake dates, enrolments procedures and policies from schools, their terms and conditions, any other school-specific information.
● Organise and manage data and information in relation to health and other insurance providers, homestay accommodation companies and host families.
● Organise and manage information and creating information fact-sheets in relation to student requirements and legislation, to be distributed to International Students who liaise with our company, with the objective of propagating correct and up-to-date information.
● Be the point of contact within our company for all schools, colleges and stakeholders.
● Create all documentation, as well as procedures and policies for the Education Division.
● Liaise with our team members to inform and update them about schools and courses information.
● Create and implement efficient systems so our team members can share all this wealth of information with our clients. Distinguish onshore from offshore processes.
● Provide monthly reports to Directors with data about enrolments, number of students coming through our company offshore and onshore, as well as student visa data (applications, approvals, refusals and other info as required by the Directors and other departments).
● Provision of information to be employed in training actions of current and new staff members.
● Develop and maintain good relationships with all schools and colleges and relevant stakeholders, by visiting schools as required, attending events as put on by schools.
● Create and maintain a central file with information about guidelines to be followed and other information that will assist international students to make the transition to living in Australia a bit easily.
● Develop and maintain good relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.
● Undertake other tasks/projects as and when required by management.
Skills Required
- At least 1 years of work experience in a similar role and within a Student Agency, so the person can bring the skills we need and apply them to our organisation on an immediate basis. Our business objectives need to be fulfilled now.
Language and Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Strong telephone manner with the ability to engage confidently and professionally
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- High level of English language proficiency, including professional business writing and the ability to obtain and convey information clearly

Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
