About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, morning-loving Bakery All-Rounder to join our team twice a week. If you love the smell of fresh bread, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring positive energy to early mornings, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will be preparing for opening by cutting bread and making fresh sandwiches and rolls , ensuring our customers start their day with great service and fresh food. Each shift will be 4 hours long, making it perfect for someone looking for consistent, short morning shifts. There is potential to pick up more shifts in the future too if that is what you're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Opening & Prep: Arrive at 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM to help set up the retail display, cut and package fresh bread, and prepare sqndwhiches
- Food Preparation: Make fresh, high-quality sandwiches, rolls, and fill food displays neatly
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the counter, sandwich station, and service areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-stocked throughout your shift
What We Are Looking For
- The Ultimate Morning Person: Reliable, punctual, and genuinely comfortable with 5:30 AM / 6:00 AM starts.
- Fast & Efficient: Ability to work quickly and neatly during busy breakfast and morning rushes
- Great Communicator: Friendly, polite, and passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Experience: Previous experience in a bakery, café, or fast-paced food service environment is highly regarded
