Job description:
Orion Blinds is a locally owned wholesale blinds and awnings manufacturer based in Alstonville/Wollongbar. We are currently seeking to hire a Manufacturing Team Member to join our growing production team.
This is a hands-on role with full on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in manufacturing , particularly in fabric cutting and sewing , or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
About the Role:
Core tasks involve cutting and processing fabrics for the manufacture of awnings and outdoor blinds
Operating equipment and machinery, including large automated cutting tables (training provided)
General process and production manufacturing duties
Be trained in multiple roles across external blinds production
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
Maintaining quality and safety standards
About You:
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Looking for long-term, stable employment
Hours & Benefits:
Monday to Thursday: Full-time hours
Friday: Half day (early finish – no weekends!)
Overtime available during peak periods
