About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner – Operations to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partnering Lead – Operations, this role will deliver high quality, practical and outcomes focused HR partnering to leaders across WesCEF operational businesses.
Operating within a complex operational environment, you will be required to develop a strong working knowledge of applicable industrial instruments, legislation and policy to support WesCEF leaders make compliant and well-informed people decisions.
The Senior HR Business Partner will work alongside our HR specialist teams, including Employee Relations, HR Services, Digital, Data and Reward to deliver timely, compliant and fit for purpose HR solutions that directly support operational effectiveness and business performance.
In this role key responsibilities will include:
Partner directly with operational leaders to deliver practical, timely HR advice and solutions
Support workforce and organisational change and transformation initiatives
Collaborate with ER to manage complex people matters
Drive culture, engagement, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
Support contractor mobilisation, governance and compliance requirements
Coordinate delivery of HR initiatives with specialist HR teams
Contribute to governance, reporting and compliance activities
Support effective use of HR systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Champion the HR systems and process and ensure adoption of these systems by the business
About You
We are looking for a people focused HR professional who thrives in fast paced, operational environments. To be successful, you will bring:
Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience in HR Business Partnering, ideally in an operational or site environment
Sound employee and industrial relations experience, preferably within technical and/or blue-collar environments
Demonstrated experience in applying enterprise agreements and managing ER matters
Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks.
Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships and influence across all levels
Hands on, self-driven and proactive approach to managing HR operational activities
The agility and adaptability to respond to changing business and operational priorities.
Experience in working effectively with HR information systems and using people data to inform decision making.
