Twisted Sista Global Pty Ltd is an established and expanding café and gelateria
group, operating multiple franchised locations across Victoria. The brand is
recognised for its innovative menu offerings, high-volume service environment, and
strong operational systems.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking to appoint an Executive Chef to lead
culinary operations across our network.
The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic and operational
direction of all food-related functions across six (6) franchise locations.
The role requires a highly experienced professional capable of
delivering consistency, scalability, and innovation within a multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, implementation, and continuous
improvement of food menus, recipes, and seasonal offerings across all
venues within the group.
Develop, standardise, and maintain recipes, portion controls, plating
specifications, and food presentation standards to ensure consistency and
quality across kitchen operations.
Oversee kitchen operations and monitor food preparation methods, cooking
standards, and presentation quality across all locations to ensure consistency
with brand and culinary standards.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, head chefs, and franchise kitchen
teams in food preparation techniques, kitchen procedures, food safety
standards, and presentation requirements.
Develop and implement kitchen operational procedures and production
workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and service standards across
multiple sites.
Coordinate supplier sourcing and procurement of food products and kitchen
supplies, while monitoring food costs, stock usage, wastage, and portion
control measures.
Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, hygiene regulations, kitchen
sanitation requirements, and safe food handling procedures across all kitchen
operations.
Support the establishment of new store locations by assisting with kitchen
setup, menu implementation, workflow planning, and training of kitchen
personnel.
Conduct regular audits of kitchen operations, food quality, storage
procedures, and presentation standards, and implement corrective actions
where required.
Collaborate with senior management regarding menu direction, product
development, and operational improvements to support business growth and
customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in a closely related filed (e.g. Kitchen
Management/Commercial Cookery/Hospitality Management), or else 3 years
of relevant working experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen,
including leadership responsibilities
In-depth knowledge of Australian food safety standards and compliance
frameworks
Ability to travel between locations as required
Highly Regarded
Experience in a senior culinary leadership role (Executive Chef / Group Chef /
Head Chef – Multi-site)
