Endless Support Services is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our small, values-driven team.
We are currently recruiting for a specific role supporting a young person on Russell Island. Support community access, in home support, and transport both on and off the island.
About the role:
This position currently involves regular afternoon weekday shifts.
Duties may include:
- Supporting the participant to access the community and participate in activities
- Providing transport in a safe and reliable manner
- Supporting the participant with routines, engagement and skill development
- Recognising and responding calmly to signs of distress or dysregulation
- Completing clear and accurate shift, incident and restrictive-practice documentation
- Providing consistent, trauma-informed and person-centred support
- Following support plans, organisational procedures and reporting requirements
About you:
Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker is highly regarded.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, observant and calm under pressure. You must be able to work collaboratively, maintain professional boundaries and follow established behaviour support strategies consistently.
You must:
- Understand trauma-informed care
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Hold a current Blue Card
- Hold a current Queensland driver licence
- Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Have access to a reliable, appropriately insured vehicle both on Russell Island and on the mainland
- Be able to commence promptly

Pay: $45.28 – $81.50 per hour
