About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join our showroom team on a casual basis. This is a customer-facing role suited to someone with an interest in design, interiors, or lighting, who enjoys engaging with clients and supporting sales outcomes.
This position offers genuine career progression opportunities for the right candidate, including development into senior sales or lighting design roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in the showroom with product selection and general enquiries
- Support the sales process from initial engagement through to order completion
- Maintain showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Process sales transactions and manage basic administrative tasks
- Develop product knowledge across lighting ranges and custom solutions
- Support the broader team with day-to-day operational tasks
About You
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a proactive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Willingness to learn and develop product and design knowledge
- Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous but not essential
- Interest in interiors, architecture, or lighting is highly regarded
