Gardening/Resort Maintenance Person
We are currently seeking a Gardening/Resort Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resort is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This includes opening the resort daily, which involves cleaning the pool areas, BBQ areas, beachfront, and bins. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and opening the Guest lounge and Public Area cleaning.
As the Gardening/Resort Maintenance Person, you will also be responsible for general garden checks and watering, as well as organizing and maintaining mulch and soil levels. You will need to be able to perform any additional garden work as directed by the Body Corporate.
Other duties include mowing and hedge trimming, as well as assisting the Maintenance department during RDO's and Annual Leave if required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in gardening and Resort Maintenance, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is permanent part time and will include some weekend work. The daily hours are flexible for the right candidate, will be paid an award wage depending on experience. This is a permanent position and a minimum contract of 12 months applies. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this roles so visa applicants must be able to work the full contract term.
