Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a strong eye for detail and a proven ability to manage trades and contracts? Wiseman Operations Pty Ltd is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our hotel property team and keep our facilities running at their very best.
About the role
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will take full ownership of maintenance operations across the property, from day-to-day repairs and inspections through to contractor coordination, service contract management, and asset register maintenance. This is a diverse, rewarding role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in a well-maintained property.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and coordinating all external trades and service contractors across the property
- Administering service contracts and ensuring all contractor insurances and licences are current
- Sourcing and obtaining comparative quotes for building works and repairs
- Maintaining and updating the property asset register on an ongoing basis
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and daily property and building systems checks
- Overseeing in-room and common area repairs and maintenance to the highest standard
- Managing pool maintenance in line with council health regulations
- Conducting Building and Room inspections and reporting defects, damages, and furniture requirements
- Assisting with budget management, stock control, and purchasing within the department
- Ensuring all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with WHS obligations
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance role
- Proven experience managing service contracts and coordinating trade contractors
- Hands-on experience maintaining an asset register
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Practical, can-do approach with the ability to carry out a wide range of tasks directly
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety obligations
- Experience in hospitality or property management highly regarded
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent practical experience an advantage

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
