We are seeking a motivated and results driven Event Sales Manager to join the Dedes Waterfront Group team, focused on driving weddings and private functions across our venue portfolio.
The Event Sales Manager is responsible converting sales within the event sales pipeline, from initial contact to proposal, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to event handover.
Manage and convert inbound events enquiries received via our CRM, email and phone calls, for weddings, christenings and other private events.
Develop tailored proposals and packages to suit client needs and budgets.
Host site inspections and venue tours with prospective clients
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, wedding planners, suppliers and industry partners.
Handle all client follow up for prospective bookings, negotiating as required to secure the event.
Co-ordination and assist FOH with the preparation of events, if required.
Provide a thorough event handover to the event coordination team to ensure seamless client transition.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Provide consistent excellent customer service.
Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner.
Assist with driving the sales process to achieve event budgets set for each financial year.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders.
Attend all requested company events and training.
