About the role:
As an experienced Area Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional early learning services across your portfolio. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in early education and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Centre Managers and Educators to maintain high-quality educational programs and nurturing environments.
Lead and mentor Centre Managers to ensure each service is compliant with all regulatory requirements and operational standards are met or exceeded within each service.
Support professional development and training initiatives for staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee budgeting, wage management, resource allocation for centres, KPI management, identify potential risks to the business, and assist in accessing additional funding and/or subsidies including traineeship incentives.
Monitor and assess the quality of each service, implement improvements as needed, and conduct regular inspections.
Prepare and submit reports on the Centre’s performance, financial status, and any necessary documentation to senior management.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children through consistent adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements.
Please note our Head Office is situated in Homebush West, and this position entails travel throughout Greater Sydney.
About you:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Area Manager role.
Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised University, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
A strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Fair Work and WH&S legislation, Code of Ethics, and other regulatory frameworks and legislation.
Understanding of commercial and business acumen.
Proven experience with the Department of Education.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Maintain Mandatory National Child Safety Training.
