Monarch Community Health Services is seeking an experienced female Support Worker aged 35years or over to support a female participant with daily living, personal care and community access.
About the Participant
The participant is a friendly, intelligent and empathetic person who enjoys social activities, cooking and crafts. She values routine, stability and building a strong, trusting relationship with her Support Worker.
She is independent with transfers and eating, but requires assistance with personal care, dressing, meal preparation and light household duties.
Diagnosis: cerebral palsy, epilepsy, L3 autism
Support Requirements
The successful Support Worker will assist with:
- Personal care and dressing
- Morning and evening routines
- Meal preparation, including cutting food
- Light household duties
- Community access and social activities
- Cooking and craft activities
- Supporting established routines
- Overnight support
- Promoting independence, dignity and choice
Essential Requirements
- Female Support Worker
- 35 years or older
- Must be able to drive the participant’s van
- Confident, reliable and empathetic
- Able to communicate clearly and understand the participant’s communication needs
- Comfortable supporting someone who prefers a structured routine
- Experience with disability and personal care is highly desirable
- Available for regular ongoing shifts
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, if applicable
- First Aid and CPR
- Full Australian driver’s licence
Availability
Support is required Monday to Sunday, with a minimum 3-hour shift.
Overnight support is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The participant is looking for stability and consistency, so applicants who can commit to regular ongoing shifts are strongly preferred.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $40.26 – $45.00 per hour
