About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Packing & Warehouse Manager to join our new Ballarat site, leading all packing, warehouse, inventory, logistics and dispatch activities, ensuring products move efficiently from production through to customer delivery. This is a hands-on role and a key member of the site leadership team. As one of the first leaders in this area, you'll have the opportunity to shape systems, processes and ways of working from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all packing, warehousing, dispatch and inventory management activities
- Develop, coach and lead a high-performing team while fostering a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture.
- Participate in Business Reviews and ongoing performance discussions with transport and logistics providers.
- Execution of the weekly packing plan to achieve good OEE's output.
- Build strong relationships with Commercial, Customer Service, Planning and Supply Chain stakeholders to support operational and customer outcomes.
- Drive safe, efficient and compliant operation of packing equipment, warehouse systems and materials handling processes.
About You
You're a commercially minded operations leader who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational execution. You're comfortable moving between the warehouse floor and strategic meetings and discussions, ensuring products flow efficiently from production through to customers.
You will bring:
- Experience leading warehouse, logistics, distribution, packing or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership capability with experience coaching, developing and motivating teams.
- Experience managing transport providers, logistics performance and customer service outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across Operations, Commercial, Planning and Supply Chain functions.
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for driving operational excellence.
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, logistics or automated production environments will be highly regarded.
