About the Role:
As a Personal Care Assistant at Greener Family, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care services to our clients. You will be a key member of our team, ensuring that clients receive personalised and attentive support tailored to their individual needs. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being and happiness of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance to clients in accordance with their individual care plans
● Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
● Ensure the medication is taken by client as directed by the healthcare team
● Assist with mobility and transfer as needed
● Keep accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
● Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client
● Communicate effectively with the client, their family members, and healthcare professionals
● Attend training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in caregiving
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with at least 1+ year of experience in a similar role is required.
-At least 120 hours practical experience
-Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and compassionate nature with a commitment to quality care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in personal care or related fields.
- A current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are advantageous.
