The opportunity: Portfolio Administrator
Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to start your journey in financial services? Here’s your chance to gain hands-on experience in the operational side of wealth management while directly supporting client portfolio management.
We are seeking a Portfolio Administrator to join our team, working closely with our Private Wealth and Operations teams. In this role, you’ll help manage and maintain client portfolios, streamline reporting, and ensure smooth administration processes.
As a Portfolio Administrator you will undertake a range of duties including:
- Perform daily data file uploads from external financial service providers and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct daily portfolio reconciliations, including cash and stock, and address inconsistencies.
- Manage account establishment and closure, including external accounts as required.
- Process off-market stock transfers on and off client HINs, ensuring accurate portfolio records.
- Build cost base histories for incoming stock.
- Allocate, process, and file registry mail.
- Assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.
- Support income tax processing and report preparation.
- Monitor and process corporate actions.
- Onboard new investment portfolios.
- Provide portfolio-related support to Advisers and Assistants.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, investment advisers, and external financial service providers, requiring strong communication skills.

- Recent graduate or early-career professional (Finance, Commerce, Business, or similar)
- An interest in the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
- High attention to detail
- Proven skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work to deadlines, along with the flexibility to manage changing priorities
- Ability to work as part of a team and create a positive working environment
