What are we looking for?
The Associate manages their own practice and client portfolio, providing high-quality legal advice and representation while working closely with senior lawyers and supporting junior team members. You will play a key role in achieving positive outcomes for clients, building strong relationships and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.
- Manage a diverse caseload, providing timely legal advice, client support and high-quality outcomes.

Consult with clients to understand their matters, provide clear advice and effectively manage expectations.

Prepare quality legal correspondence, advice and documentation within required timeframes.

Work collaboratively with senior lawyers, counsel and external experts to resolve complex legal issues.

Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the development of referral networks.

Conduct file reviews, identify risks and implement solutions to support effective matter management.

Provide clear and informative advice to clients, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner.

Supervise, mentor and support junior lawyers and legal support staff within the practice group.

Ensure compliance with firm standards, policies and National Practice Standards.

Contribute to the ongoing growth, performance and success of the practice area.
What will you bring?

Experience as a lawyer with the ability to independently manage a client portfolio and deliver quality legal advice.

Strong knowledge and capability within your relevant practice area.

Strong client management skills and the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
