VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our client’s business Flexiq in Melbourne. Our client is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who works well in a team environment and has strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Position Overview
The ICT Business Analyst is responsible for analysing, designing, and improving business and system processes to enhance operational efficiency and system effectiveness. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, develop functional specifications, and support the delivery of high-quality system solutions. This position also plays a key role in project planning, system testing, documentation, and training to ensure successful implementation and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices to determine system and operational requirements
- Evaluate inefficiencies and recommend improved business practices, system functionality, and process enhancements
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and functional requirements
- Develop functional specifications for system developers to support system design and implementation
- Use data and process modelling techniques to create clear and structured system specifications
- Apply project management methodologies, principles, and tools to support the development of project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and support system testing activities, including the creation and execution of test plans to ensure system quality and integrity
- Act as a central reference point for system-related information and provide guidance throughout project decision-making processes
- Prepare user guides, training materials, and system documentation to support end-user understanding and adoption
- Deliver formal training sessions to users and stakeholders to ensure effective system utilisation
- Liaise with project teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and business processes
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ICT, system implementation, or software development projects
- Strong understanding of business process modelling and requirements gathering techniques
- Experience in system testing, documentation, and training delivery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a project environment
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
Remuneration: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 + Super
