The Role
As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking premium steaks and grilled dishes to the highest standards while maintaining consistency, quality, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook steaks and grilled menu items to specification.
- Operate and manage the grill section during service.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Assist with preparation and service as required.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a grill or steakhouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of steak cuts, cooking temperatures, and grilling techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
