Pack by Versace is a leading supplier of packaging products based in Ingleburn. We pride ourselves on fast, reliable, and safe service to our commercial and retail customers. We are currently seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team.
Position Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. You will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport and unload products from our warehouse to customer sites, job locations, and vendor facilities. When not on the road, you will assist with general warehouse duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Delivery: Safely operate a large commercial van to deliver goods according to the daily manifest and scheduled routes.
- Loading & Unloading: Manually or mechanically load and unload heavy products. Verify orders against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, obtain signatures upon delivery, and handle any on-site discrepancies or customer inquiries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Report maintenance issues and keep the vehicle interior clean.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all road safety laws, local traffic regulations, and company driving policies.
- Warehouse Duties: Assist with picking, packing, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean warehouse environment during downtime.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driver’s license with a safe driving record (no MR, HR licence required).
- Experience: Previous experience driving commercial vehicles and working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy items, stand, bend, and load cargo.
- Reliability: Strong time-management skills with the ability to navigate routes efficiently and meet strict delivery windows.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers is preferred.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: $32 per hour plus overtime opportunities.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
