We’re looking for a Weekend Cook to join our team at Little Tienda Thornbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and can stay calm and organised during busy service periods. You’ll be helping with food prep, service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. What you’ll be doing: * Preparing and cooking menu items during service * Assisting with food prep and kitchen setup * Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation * Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and stocked * Following food safety and hygiene standards * Working closely with the team during busy weekend service What we’re looking for: * Previous experience working as a cook or chef in a café, restaurant or fast-paced kitchen * Ability to work efficiently under pressure * Good communication and teamwork skills * Reliable, punctual and well organised * A positive attitude and willingness to help the team * Availability to work weekends What we offer: * Friendly and supportive team environment * Great café atmosphere in Thornbury * Consistent weekend shifts * Opportunity for additional shifts for the right person
