About the Role: This is a rewarding opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher who leads with heart, vision, and operational excellence. You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor a dedicated team, and ensure our centre continues to deliver exceptional care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organises and provides developmentally appropriate early childhood education programs including planning and implementing learning activities;
- Provides activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children;
- Plans and prepares the classroom setting, oversees safety and educational programs, supervises children in the classroom and provides a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviours;
- Promotes language development through storytelling, roleplays, songs and informal discussions held individually and within group settings;
- Observes students to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbance and other disabilities;
- Observes children’s nutritional health, welfare and safety needs of students and identifying factors which may impede students' progress;
- Writes and compiles individual assessments on each child's development;
- Interacts with parents and discusses students' progress with them and attends staff and committee meetings;
- Maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement and supporting the child's family relationships;
- Participates in community and family support programs and supervises student teachers on placement.
About You: We’re looking for a leader/teacher who brings warmth, professionalism, and a commitment to quality early learning. You’ll have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or higher qualifications in related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Educator or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and experience developing a QIP.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- A genuine passion for creating safe, inclusive and nurturing environments

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
