SAI PREM PTY LTD T/As NEW STYLE HAIR & BEAUTY is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Hairdresser to join our professional team in Maylands, Western Australia. We are looking for a passionate individual with strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality hairdressing services and client care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Providing a range of hairdressing services including hair cutting, colouring, styling, blow-drying, straightening, perming, and hair treatments.
- Consulting with clients to assess hair condition, discuss hairstyle preferences, and recommend suitable hair care services and products.
- Applying colouring, bleaching, tinting, and highlighting techniques in accordance with client requirements.
- Shampooing, conditioning, and treating hair and scalp using professional salon products.
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards within the salon.
- Managing appointment schedules and assisting with client consultations.
- Advising clients on hair care routines, aftercare, and suitable hair products.
- Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques, products, and styling methods.
- Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff when required.
Skills and Experience Required :
- Relevant qualification in Hairdressing or related field.
- At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser.
- Sound knowledge of hair colouring, cutting, styling techniques, and salon procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and professional presentation.
- Commitment to high standards of customer service and workplace hygiene.
Employment Details :
- Position: Part-time or Full-time (minimum 38 hours per week)
- Location: Maylands - 6051, Western Australia
- Salary: $72,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
