Primary objective
To provide advice, and executive and secretarial support to the Big Rivers Region Health Leadership Committee (BRR HLC)
team, whilst supporting change management strategies to achieve successful outcomes across the Region.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide high level administrative and executive assistance to the BRR HLC team and staff, including diary management,
records and information management, filing, and monitoring incoming calls to the BRR HLC positions.
2. Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for the BRR HLC team, as required.
3. Record and monitor incoming and outgoing correspondence and update information as required (including ministerial
correspondence and legislative briefings), ensuring the presentation of all documents is correct and deadlines are met.
4. Provide high level of administrative and secretariat support for meetings and workshops including scheduling of
meetings, preparing agendas, distribution of associated papers and taking minutes.
5. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being
undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
6. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to a senior leader or executive, including managing
calendars, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence and maintaining confidential files and records.
2. Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint) and record management systems with
a willingness to adopt new technology.
3. Well-developed professional, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate (both written and
verbally) with a diverse group of stakeholders and build positive working relationships with other executives and staff.
4. Prior experience operating in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational and time management skills with the
flexibility to handle changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Attention to detail with ability to delegate and escalate issues, develop creative solutions and seek out positive
improvements.
