Millsheds Distillery and Bar (@ themill) is growing and looking for more staff for our close-knit team.
We are seeking a Bartender/Distillery Hand to join our team at Millsheds, working both in our Terrace Bar and in our Distillery, helping with tastings, events, and production.
Our Distillery is a cozy, intimate space with a beautiful outdoor courtyard situated just off the main street. We are looking for someone who is passionate about drinks and creating memorable experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, cocktails, beer, and soft drinks
- Provide excellent customer service and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including stocking inventory and cleaning glasses and utensils.
- Create and maintain relationships with customers to build a loyal customer base.
Preferred Requirements:
- RSA required
- Experience as a bartender or in hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of wine and cocktails.
- A passion for customer service and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who is willing to collaborate with other staff members.
