Beachside Bakehouse San Remo is looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking Front of House Team Members to join our busy bakery team.
We are a traditional coastal bakery offering a wide range of freshly baked cakes, pies, sausage rolls, slices, breads, sandwiches, rolls, coffee, milkshakes and more.

This position would suit someone looking for a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with the opportunity for up to 5 shifts during our busier periods.
About the role
Our Front of House team are responsible for providing excellent customer service while keeping the shop running smoothly, particularly during busy periods.
Your duties will include:
- Serving customers and providing friendly, efficient service
- Operating our coffee machine and preparing coffees
- Using electronic POS systems and handling cash
- Packing customer and takeaway orders
- Restocking displays and front-of-house areas
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised shop
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Working efficiently during busy periods and high customer turnover
- Following company procedures and food safety requirements
- Working independently when required, while being a positive team player
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous hospitality, café, bakery or customer service experience
- Is confident using a coffee machine
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Has great time management and can work efficiently under pressure
- Is confident handling money and using electronic POS systems
- Can use initiative and make decisions in the best interests of the business
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Understands that weekends, school holidays and public holidays are some of our busiest trading periods
Availability
We are looking for someone with availability across a 7-day roster.
This could be a great opportunity for someone looking for a second job during the day, with shifts generally falling between 6:00am and 3:30pm, while still being able to work evening hospitality shifts elsewhere.
Shifts and hours will vary depending on the roster and your availability.
Availability during weekends, school holidays, public holidays and the Christmas/New Year period is highly desirable.
