Work across diverse metro wastewater and resource recovery assets
About the role
We have a 12-month contract opportunity for a Process Coordinator to join the Kwinana and Mandurah Water Resource Recovery team. Reporting to the Team Leader, this role supports the safe and efficient operation of wastewater and advanced treatment assets across metro sites, including the Kwinana Water Reclamation Plant. You will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure compliance, optimise processes, and maintain high operational standards.
What the role will involve
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot wastewater and advanced treatment processes
- Collect and analyse samples to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Investigate faults, perform diagnostics and support process optimisation
- Coordinate minor works, contractors and stakeholder activities
- Manage and input operational data across systems
- Participate in incident response and standby roster (after training)
About you
- Certificate II III or –Diploma in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in wastewater, advanced treatment, mining or similar industries
- Knowledge of RO, membrane or recycled water processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SCADA or process control systems
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety
