What your day could look like
As a Senior Physiotherapist in Orthopaedics, you'll be part of a team that goes beyond treating injuries- you'll help people reclaim independence, confidence and quality of life. In a region where your work is valued and visible, you'll combine hands-on care with leadership, shaping both patient outcomes and how services evolve.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering expert orthopaedic care that supports faster recovery and lasting outcomes for patients
Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to create meaningful, person-centred care plans
Leading improvements that strengthen service quality and keep care responsive to community needs
Mentoring and guiding others, helping build capability while fostering a supportive team culture
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings heart, skill and purpose to your work. You thrive on helping people move forward- whether that's a patient taking their first steps post-surgery or a colleague gaining confidence under your guidance. You value connection, act with integrity, and approach challenges with curiosity and courage. In this role, you'll find pride not just in what you do, but in the difference it makes to a regional community that truly appreciates it.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current physiotherapy registration and a recognised tertiary qualification
Strong experience in orthopaedics, with confidence managing complex cases
Advanced clinical reasoning and commitment to evidence-based practice
Collaborative approach and strong communication across teams and patients
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in mentoring or service improvement, and/or further study in a relevant clinical area.
Most importantly, you're motivated by meaningful work, eager to grow, and ready to embrace the lifestyle, connection and opportunity that come with regional practice- living the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage every day.
