Mapple Care is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred support services across Queensland. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant based in Townsville.
About the Participant
- Female, 50 years of age
- Living with multiple complex health conditions
- Experience supporting participants undergoing dialysis is highly desirable.
Hours of Work
- Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: 4 hours per day
- Wednesday & Friday: 5 hours per day
Total: 22 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate commencement available.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Experience providing disability support, preferably with participants who have complex health needs
- Experience or a sound understanding of supporting participants receiving dialysis
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), if applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current National Police Check (where required)
- The right to work in Australia
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach
