We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to support the overall operations of our restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a flair for exceptional customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and consistent food and customer service standards.
· Providing advice and organising tastings for new menu items in consultation with management and chefs.
· Liaising with customers to plan and arrange special functions, including parties and group events.
· Monitoring inventory levels, arranging the purchase of food, beverages and other supplies, and negotiating with suppliers where required.
· Maintaining records of income and expenditure, monitoring cash flow, and controlling operational costs and budgets.
· Collecting customer feedback regarding food and service quality and resolving complaints where required.
· Ensuring the kitchen, dining areas and other restaurant facilities comply with relevant health, safety and hygiene requirements.
· Interviewing, selecting, training and supervising restaurant staff.
· Preparing weekly staff rosters and arranging replacement staff where required.
· Monitoring staff performance, providing guidance and implementing appropriate measures to maintain service standards and a positive working environment.
Required Qualification and Experience
· At least 3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager
· Diploma of hospitality management or equivalent
Required Knowledge and Skills
· Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
· Outstanding organisational and management skills
· Demonstrated ability to interview, train, and supervise staff
· Proficiency in budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and managing stocks and supplies
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Strong ability in customer service
· Knowledge of food safety and health regulations, ensuring the venue meets all compliance standards
