Laundry Production Assistant

Previous experience in a Commercial Laundry is an advantage, but not necessary. Training will be provided.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our small, tight-knit production team. In this role, you will be hands-on with processing high-quality linen for our clients.
The role involves operating Laundry machinery - washers, dryers and associated laundry equipment - receiving, sorting and dispatching laundry plus learning the procedures of our Commercial laundry. Your daily tasks will include:
- Receiving & Sorting: Organizing incoming linen and commercial laundry items.
- Processing & Folding: Operating laundry machinery and neatly folding finished goods.
- Distribution Prep: Preparing and packing items securely for client distribution.

Requirements
- Physical Fitness: This is an active, fast-paced role. You must be physically fit and able to carry heavy loads plus stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements for a full shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and punctuality are non-negotiable.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy to ensure quality standards are met.
- Transport: Your own reliable transport is necessary to ensure you can arrive for the 5.30 AM start.
The successful applicant must be available to commence at 5.30am and is required to have their own transport to get to and from work.
Working Hours: 5.30am to 1.45pm
Hourly Rate: $32.50 per hour
What we require:
- Successful candidate must be able to work Full time Monday to Friday and available to commence work at 5.30am
- Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends, if required
- Willing to learn the procedures of the Commercial Laundry processes
- Lift, reach, stretch and lift heavy loads on a daily basis
- Being Physically fit is required for this position.
