As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Commercial Property Lawyer (3+ years PQE) to join our team.
About the Role
You will work closely with an experienced partner on a broad range of high-quality property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial and retail leasing, property development, and advisory work.
This role offers strong autonomy, direct client contact, and the opportunity to take ownership of matters while being supported by a highly experienced partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting on commercial, industrial, and retail property transactions
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts of sale and vendor statements
- Advising on commercial and retail leasing matters (landlord and tenant)
- Assisting with property development transactions and structuring
- Conducting due diligence on property acquisitions and disposals
- Advising clients on planning, zoning, and property-related issues
- Managing matters from instruction through to settlement
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with partners and other team member
Skills & Experience
- Admitted to practice in Victoria
- 2–6+ years post-admission experience in commercial property law
- Strong experience in leasing and/or property transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem solving
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, organised, and client-focused

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
