About the role – Permanent Full-Time
As a Cook at Mylor Adventure Camp, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for camp guests through the preparation and service of quality meals. Working as part of a supportive hospitality team, you will ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations are maintained while delivering excellent customer service.
This hands-on role includes meal preparation, catering for dietary requirements, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and contributing to a welcoming camp environment. You will also have the opportunity to work across both Mylor Adventure Camp and Wirraway Camp in Strathalbyn.
This is a permanent 38-hour per week role working on a rotating roster, with varied shifts between 7:00am and 7:00pm. The position includes occasional weekend work, with no night shifts required.
About you:
You are a reliable and enthusiastic cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality meals and excellent service. You have a strong focus on food safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. With a positive attitude and flexible approach, you are committed to creating a welcoming experience for guests and contributing to a supportive team culture.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience

Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment

Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Experience catering for a variety of dietary requirements
